"KACHING" is a well known GRP launch around Mana, Cook Strait and the Sounds and her owner and family have enjoyed her for over 10 years. They now live out of the area and lack the spare time to use her as much as they would like, having enjoyed over 1000 hours of great boating.
Markline 1100’s are well renowned as solid, sea kindly, NZ built fiberglass launches. This 1987 twin station flybridge Deluxe example has the benefit of having been repowered with new larger 200hp Volvos in 2000.
11m loa with a 3.6m beam, powered by twin Volvo 200hp AD41P’s having done only 1120 hrs since the repower. With Volvo Duoprop legs she gives an easy 18 knot cruise with a max of 22 knots. Her owner had new plastic diesel tanks fitted giving an upgraded 1000 litres, and 400 ltrs water. Features/upgrades include:
*6 berths with a double in the fore cabin, 2 bunks in a second cabin and a dbl in the saloon.
*2 burner gas oven, fridge / freezer, electric toilet, 2 x showers.
*Shore power with eWof, 2 x start and 2 x house batteries.
*Lowrance GPS/Plotter, Furuno colour sounder, VHF, compass and EPIRB.
*Electric capstan with remote switching, and trim tabs.
